Privacy Policy

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this privacy and Personal Data protection policy is to present which Personal Data are processed to enable the operation of all functionalities provided by Ajinomoto do Brasil and its platforms. To explain how Personal Data are collected, used, and disclosed by Ajinomoto do Brasil in accordance with the General Data Protection Law – LGPD – Law No. 13,709/18.

1. Scope
1.1 The rules established in this Policy must be complied with by all employees of Ajinomoto do Brasil.

2. Glossary
2.1. ANPD – National Data Protection Authority (ANPD): Public administration body responsible for ensuring, implementing, and supervising compliance with this Law throughout the national territory.
2.2. Cookies: Small text files that may be placed on the computer or portable device by websites or services on the web that the user uses. They are used to ensure the proper functioning of websites and other online services, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website or online service.
2.3. Anonymized Data: Data that does not associate with or identify, directly or indirectly, a natural person. However, anonymized data may be considered personal data whenever it is possible to reverse the anonymization process using technical, reasonable, and available means at the time, in a way that allows the identification of the natural person.
2.4. Personal Data: Information related to an identified or identifiable natural person. Any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person (for example: RG, CPF, name, date of birth, as well as geographic location, behavioral profile, IP address, Cookies, and other similar information that makes the data subject identifiable);

2.5. DPO (Data Protection Officer): Person in charge of data processing, appointed by Ajinomoto do Brasil.
2.6. IP Addresses: An IP address is a number used on the internet or on a network to identify your computer. Every time the user connects to the internet, their computer receives an IP assigned by their internet service provider.
2.7. Security Incident: Unauthorized access and/or accidental or unlawful situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication, or any form of improper or unlawful processing.
2.8. Data Subject: Natural person to whom the personal data refers.
2.9. Data Processing: Any operation carried out with Personal Data, such as those related to collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, deletion, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination, or extraction. Any use or storage of personal data is considered processing.
